what do you think?

So of course everyone knows ii am a womens college basketball player && ii want your opinion about a certain topic. It iis very common for male basketball players to go straight out of high school to the NBA or go to college for a yr ot 2 && leave, but not common for women players at all. Recently mii gurl Ephiphany Prince has graduated from Rutgers early && will be playing over seas until the following year when she can be drafted into the WNBA. I feel like this was a awesome decision for her && ii feel she will succeed this way!!!! This decision will benefit her in many ways (finicially, skills && becoming more advance && ready for the WNBA), but ii wanna know how you feel??? Is this a good or bad decision?? How do you feel her college teammates feel???..... HEAR ME OUT PPL...

  1. I have some friends who went to Germany to play basketball and they all came home driving Mercedes! So I would have to say this is a good career move for her.

  2. I think it's a good idea if you think it is not what other people think. If it's what somebody wants to do then do it, if not then don't. Who cares how her college teammates feel, their probably not looking out for what's best for her anyway.

  3. Candy-
I think its a great idea as well. Her teammates should respect her decision and support her for numerous reasons. Lastly, I want to see you join the WNBA. See ya and good luck.

  4. I think it's a good decision. By graduating early she is showing that she is motivated and has her her priorities in order, because she knows what she needs to do to get to where she really wants to be. Plus, traveling away and livin on her own in a different country is not an opportunity that everyone gets. Someday she'll probably look back on that time as a great period in her life. She can't worry about how her friends feel; you always need to look out for yourself and your interests first.

  5. Its definitley a risk-- I guess you would have to feel extremely confident that you could make it before leaving college. But if you're sure and willing to take the risk it sounds like an amazing oppurtunity-- tough decision for sure!

  6. I feel a college education should come first if you have the opportunity to achieve one. However it is up to the person to decide what they want to do with their life. If basketball is what they want to do, then I feel that is their choice. I think her college teammates would understand that she is trying to achieve a higher level of basketball.
